  • Police are investigating after a man was seriously assaulted in an incident in Fauldhouse woodland

A police investigation has been started after a man was found seriously injured following reports of gunfire in woodland in Fauldhouse.

An area of woodland was sealed off by police after the mystery incident on Tuesday 24th August.

Police have confirmed a 40-year-old man was taken to St John's Hospital after being "seriously assaulted" but that he had not suffered any gunshot wounds. They are still investigating whether any shots were fired.
